Nancy Estrada, LPC-Associate

I work with teenagers and adults struggling to maintain their mental health and/or are finding it difficult to balance all the demands and stressors of life. I want to partner with you and meet you wherever you are so we, together, are better able to set aside expectations and preconceived that can interfere with the counseling process. Counseling is an active process where you are in control. My role is to provide support, listen to you, and help guide you along your journey. I would be honored to accompany you down the path of life towards a better tomorrow.

I have a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarelton State University. I am also a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I use active listening to identify areas of concern in your life that may be preventing you from realizing your goals. Pulling from a variety of therapeutic approaches, we will figure out what works best for you as we work together to improve your mental wellbeing and achieve your goals.

My goal is to help you identify where you are in your mental health journey, where you want to be and how to get there. I work with a holistic approach that appreciates and values all the various parts of a person without any judgement of fear of rejection. Being able to express who you are now is just as important as reaching your goals.

I work with teenagers 13+ and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, low self esteem, and life transitions. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and Hispanic woman that allows me to be in a unique position to appreciate subtle nuances of counseling in the Hispanic community. Additionally, I am also passionate about working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder. I am trained to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Child-centered Play Therapy, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

LaKeesha Winston, LPC-Associate

I am a dedicated mental health professional and advocate with extensive experience working with veterans and individuals in crisis. With a background rooted in service, I have spent my career empowering individuals to overcome adversity, build resilience, and achieve emotional well-being.

My journey began with a career in law enforcement, where I gained firsthand experience addressing the complexities of mental health crises within the criminal justice system. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of the intersection between trauma, mental health, and public safety, fueling my passion for advocating for those often overlooked in society. I have provided specialized care and counseling services to help veterans navigate challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, grief, substance and alcohol use, and trauma-related disorders. Using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have helped many veterans regain stability and purpose in their lives.

As a crisis intervention specialist, I have facilitated group therapy and psychoeducational programs in correctional facilities, prisons, and community settings. My work in these environments has been instrumental in providing individuals with the tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and change maladaptive beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors.

I firmly believe it’s ok to not be okay! Life unfolds whether you’re ready or not and challenges are inevitable. Hence, my mission is to create accessible, trauma-informed mental health resources that foster healing, empowerment, and transformation.
